I imagine the many
relationships as circles, concentric ones,
intersecting ones. The boundaries that separate these circles, depending
on their permeability levels, see the different layers and degrees of our
character and this geometry in our lives is a very interesting one.
You make that
conscious attempt and are using your intuitive best, to not let the undesired
people enter any of the circles, that s when you are drawing thicker lines for
them not to penetrate.
You start seeing the
differences in the people who reside in the same circles, that is when you draw
more concentric circles and fit them right.
You start realizing
the mistakes you have made in letting some people in, that is when you open
those boundaries, let these people out and close them in again.
You start seeing
similarities and yet some differences in the people, that is when you start
drawing some intersecting circles.
You , out of love
and trust , with great joy let people from outer circles take on different
roles in the inner circles, that s when you let some boundaries vanish or fade
slowly.
You, give a special
position to some one close to your own inner most circle, that is when you know
that your gap is respected and are sometimes willing to bridge that gap.
That is the science
of relationships in my world. I am extremely happy and feel blessed with the
circles I have drawn around myself, the different boundaries that merged, the
boundaries that I erased, the gap that was bridged, the boundaries that were thickened
, the boundaries that were made thinner and the many layers of concentric ones
that were made on the fly out of experience.
All of my circles
are all my life's worth.

Is there anyone else
than your own self with whom you can be filled with mirth and deeply worried or
disturbed at the same time , that too for the same reason?
What do you mean by
ego-less self, is there anyone else with whom you can show all your ego and get
that ego pampered, boosted and celebrated too.
What balcony person,
who knows your grief better than you own self? You will never be able to do
justice to your grief by voicing to another person, only the person who can
hear it on their own can understand it best.
You know your
capabilities, your weaknesses even if it is over blown by your watch dog person
or under estimated by your basement person, there is no other soul who
knows your limitations more than your own inner soul.
All these
relationships have derived some patterns of your reactions to the various
things, like your misty eyed sorrowful moments or gleeful over the top happy
moments,
but who knows that
the deepest of your grief is unknown to even your tear glands and the joyest
of your moments is not even celebrated by your own heart.
Who can give the
right scores for your strongest qualities, your darkest fears, your vulnerable
points, your randomness standards, and evaluate a decision for you. Even if
someone did, did you not vet it all through this inner self. Sometimes Waging a
war, sometimes signing a ever loving peaceful act. Because there was no one
else who knows an entirety of all those qualities.
The cruelest of all
wars are waged and the most tender of those hugs exchanged with just
your own self.
Nobody can push you
beyond any point that your mind doesn't accept or your heart does not desire
to.
You are your dream,
your best judge, your critic and your love.
I agree life hinges
on relationships and all the kinds of relationships I wrote about earlier exist
and are absolutely necessary for my world to go around, but there is no greater
relationship than with one's own inner self. There exists a reserved place for
a special someone with a very negligent gap between this inner self and them in
our hearts, but it exists only because that someone acknowledges this gap and
celebrates it much more than you do. As life goes on, this boundary might
diminish depending on how much of it you yourself allow.
Relationships is all
about what I allow it be to ME.

A thing of beauty is a joy forever.
A moment of beauty is a joy forever by the gift of memory that the human mind is capable of. A thing of beauty is a joy forever when treasured and the memories those treasures can bring to you when looked at, after years or even decades.
Some of my treasures:
School report cards and even answer sheets :)
Handwritten letters shared with friends
Pictures taken in photo studios
Birthday cards with the year and month written in pencil behind
Gifts saved with the wraps
First foreign currency
Souvenirs ( even tram tickets, entry tickets to tourist spots, fridge magnets ) from around the world
School uniforms
Games - Scrabble tiles, Plot 4 coins, Ludo dice, Carrom coins. School and College Slam Books.
All these things, bring back loads of memories and they being kept as treasures makes all those beautiful memories ever green in my mind.
My beautiful treasures, which help me relive my beautiful moments.

When God made woman, He put lots of innocence and blessed her as a baby-girl.
When God made woman, He put lots of strength in her heart and mind and told her to use during her teenage times and also all her life.
When God made woman, He gave a new dimension to the meaning of the word "Independence", that it can't be quantified but that it is a feeling.
When God made woman, He gave her an unique identity, a rapidly thinking mind , a ever changing personality and let her know that she should never get bogged down if anyone told her, she is too complex to understand and predict. She just wasn't meant to be understood easily.
When God made woman, He practised wizardry and put a lot of magic in her and told her to rub this magic onto all her dear relationships.
When God made woman, He put unlimited love, a totally biased pair of eyes ( to see her children only) and whispered motherhood into her ears.
When God made woman, and sent her to this big bad World, He gave her a parting gift called "female intuition" with which she can sense the Good from the Bad.
When God made woman, He did it all so perfectly and gleamed with pride seeing what He got as output.
That look of pride on His face is what woman of the world, wear as that mesmerizing i_ll_do_anything_for_that SMILE on their faces, and carry as VANITY in their hand bags.
Being a woman, is beautiful.

I have already written about DREAM here and said, as long as there is a DREAM alive, Tomorrow never dies. This again is a post about Beautiful Dreams.
Sleep is a period of time, when you consciously have less control over your thoughts. The human mind in its sleep thinks unbiased , with no inhibitions, and it does not need to wage its war with the heart. It is your purest thoughts, those of your sub conscious mind that which takes predominance over you. Dreams are your thoughts, your deepest desires or your darkest fears.
A beautiful dream is one which you wake up to, enjoy the moment, and then in a wee bit of time fades from your memory . After days, months or years, when that very same beautiful moment or situation is lived in the consciousness, while you are wide awake and a "deja-vu" effect crosses your mind, and then you realize that it had been a dream once and that you are living that dream today.
Now that is a beautiful dream, that is a beautiful moment of a dream come true and that is a sign of a beautiful life filled with mirth.
There are some of your worst fears sometimes that haunt you in your dreams, like a real bad dream where you see events which you just dread. It is scary and these fears manifest themselves in your dream, to remind you of your weakness and is a blessing in disguise, it is your mind's intelligent way of making you live that moment in your dream so that you don't fear it anymore. After all, fear for anything exists only till it is experienced once. So face the fear in your dream and don't fear that thing anymore and handle it with mettle when you have to live it.

Having someone with whom you can just be yourself.
Having someone whom you can ask to call at my moment, any day and don't have to think a second thought and start talking without checking "Is it a right time?" (giving no respect to timezones)
Having someone to discuss that book you read.
Having someone to vent your anger on your most-hated-person and don't have to think what that someone will think of you.
Having someone to chide you angrily when you are doing something wrong.
Having someone who can hear the bad mood in your mind over the phone.
Having someone whom you can just hang up on, if you are not feeling upto it and still call back after some time and not expect your hanging up to be even mentioned.
Having someone who can predict your moods, however random you may be.
Having someone who always wishes well for you, come what may.
Having someone who take pride in anything you achieve , it never seems trivial to them because they use no yardstick.
Having someone whose happiness is a mirror image of yours.
Having someone who will show the same degree of love, despite knowing that you are not sharing your secrets with them.
Having someone who accepts you with your shortcomings.
These relationships include friends, family, colleagues or the relationship with your own inner self.
These are beautiful relationships in my beautiful life.

Though I was not part of the Blog-A-Tonic for last month, I liked this topic. I came to know about Blog-A-Tonic from Daisy Blue when I visited her blog. Sounded good so I enrolled myself for the following month's Blog-A-Tonic. If I successfully submit my post to their Blog-Marathon this month, then I am going to include that badge in my blog.
I am borrowing this topic from Blog-A-Ton for want of keeping my blog alive and the selfish reason of feeling good about writing.
Since I liked their topic a good deal, I thought of writing about it in my blog. I have tried my hand at blogging in a couple of blogs in the past and started this one of late, with the intention of keeping it a place where I can place my "2 pence" on things like books, movies, people and life in general.
Here are my TWO PENNIES on Blogging
The Cream :
Keeping a journal of things that you hold dear, things that touch in a pleasant way helps you psychologically and it is proved medically thus. From my personal experience I have felt that whenever I have put something that has touched me in a blog or in writing, I realise how deeply I feel for such things than when I just remember it in my heart. It is an elated feeling when people unknown to you read your blog, like the way you write and leave a comment or two in your blog. It is a great way of making friends. More often than not, your writing style, the things you write passionately about, the things that put you off get revealed in your blog and you paint a picture of yourself on your blog page.
When I just want to vent out anger I am feeling with a boss, friend, family, when I am on a guilt trip about spending too much, fight with a friend, working too hard, not having time for family and friends, when I am all excited about some happy things in life, when I am deeply saddened by something , when I am just not feeling up to it at work, and at that point in time, when I want to say it to some one, and I realise that every friend of mine whom I can think of calling is busy for a phone call and when no friend is near for me to drop by for a cup of coffee, then I turn to my BLOG.
I am usually amazed whenever I read my blogs and realise how much I had been touched by that moment/event that I have blogged about and feel good about it now. Regular blogging can be considered a healthy time pass and a great way to express yourself to the world outside and be heard by others easily.
To me, Blogging is one of the Little somethings in life that I hold dear and love to do. For all the things I feel and want to say and every thing that is to be, it is my dear Blog. Though I don't update the three blogs I own so regularly, I hold them dear, because they make me smile whenever I go to them.
The Scum:
A blog can frustrate you when you think that many things about you are known to way too many people, which if not for the blog, none other than some hand picked friend of yours would have known. It can sometimes make you feel too naked about yourself. However, this is something that can be kept in control by the blog author. Then, the flip side about everything on-line is the spam comments and the stupid people wanting to know about you. This too is true with any social networking activity like blogging, orkut, facebook and the likes.
Weighing the cream and the scum, the cream takes over and wins hands down in my world.
Start yourself a blog and express yourself in words to yourself and to others. Trust me, it is a happy thing.
